Every day, on streets, in backyards, and in shelters across the country, dogs are forgotten, abandoned, or actively neglected. This is true for many breeds of dogs, but pit bull type dogs in particular have the disadvantage of being the dog of choice for unsavory activities. Whatever else you believe about pit bulls- believe this: they need our help.

Pit bulls are victims of human beings who are often victims themselves. The cycle can only stop with our help.

If you own a pit bull, you know the pride and strife that go hand in hand with this responsibility. Loveabull Design is here to help these dogs and the humans that try to help them.

Loveabull's current project is a collection of portraits of pit bulls and owners for a coffee table book that showcases the diversity of the breed and the people that own the breed. 80-90% of proceeds from the book will go to pit bull rescues and pits in need. We are still collecting images for the project but expect to go to print in early 2012.
